Avenue Auto Works with Dave Whitlock for 2004 CASCAR season

Three-time CASCAR
champion Dave Whitlock is pleased to announce his #39 Dodge
will represent Avenue Motor Works Inc. on the national CASCAR
Super Series circuit this year. The familiar green, white and
purple colour scheme was on Whitlock’s car for three races in
2003, and is an Avenue trademark.
"I’m pleased to be
able to make this announcement" said Whitlock, from his
Wyoming ON based facility. "This relationship began last year
through some initial work with Avenue at the Toronto Molson
Indy and was extended to Vancouver and Calgary - which we were
fortunate to win for all the Avenue West people out there.
John, his family and staff are great people and we are anxious
to put this Avenue Dodge back in victory lane several times
this year."
This announcement
allows Whitlock Motorsports to now focus on the activities
required to be ready for the season opener on Victoria Day
weekend at Delaware Speedway, where Whitlock is the defending
race winner. Avenue joins returning associate sponsor Nitrex
Metal Technologies as an integral part of the team.

Avenue Motor Works
began life in October 1993 when John Bosschaert bought out
Avenue Auto Electric and took over the 9-person staff and AC
Delco franchise in Toronto. Approximately fifty employees are
now at the Avenue facility at 555 Oakdale Road (Toronto),
opened January 1998. Total staff has exceeded one hundred
since additional locations were opened in Calgary (1995),
Edmonton - 2 locations (2002), Barrie (2002) and Newmarket
(2003). Avenue Motor Works carries the largest and most
complete AC Delco inventory in Canada, and is an authorized
Uni-Select member bringing customers a wide range of
aftermarket products also.
"Dave represented us
well during those events last year and we’re pleased to have
his team with us for the entire 2004 season" said Avenue
president John Bosschaert. "To be able to have Dave Whitlock
represent our company, our staff and our customers is truly
exciting and we look forward to some great times this year. It
is his commitment to perfection and excellence that are a
continuous inspiration to all of us, and we know that the
Avenue family of customers and friends across the country will
be anxious to spend time with him when he’s in their area."
Avenue returns as an
associate sponsor on the #64 NTN Bearings Dodge driven by Mark
Dilley of Barrie, now in his sixth year running out of the
Whitlock Motorsports stable. Dilley will also join Whitlock as
the two share driving duties of an Avenue Dodge during limited
appearances in CASCAR’s 2004 CARQUEST Sportsman Series.
