NMT Return for a Fifth Year
with Whitlock Motorsports
Whitlock Ready for
Historic Event in Canadian Motorsports
Wyoming, ON: NMT, Nitrex Metal Technologies and
Whitlock Motorsports enter this weekends historic
event in Canadian Motorsports and solidify their
five year partnership.
"Dave Orosz, his family and the employees at NMT have
been huge, long time supporters of ours," stated
Dave Whitlock team owner and driver of the #39 Dickies/Hamilton
Tiger-Cats/NMT Dodge Charger. "We just cannot say
enough about the support they have given us over the
years," he added. "This weekend marks the first
NASCAR Canadian Tire Series event in Canada and
we hope to be etched in the history books as the
first winner in the new series. Nothing would make
our team prouder than to take all of our great new
and returning sponsors to victory lane."
"What can I say," stated Dave Orosz, President of
Nitrex Metal Technologies, "Whit and his team are
one of the most professional and talented teams in
Canadian motorsports and we are thrilled to be back
with them again in 2007 making it five great years.
Combine this team with the positive changes being
made through new NASCAR ownership and I believe this
could be another championship year for Whitlock
Motorsports. I am also pleased to see that other
sponsors have recognized Dave's talent as well as
his role as one of the great ambassadors for
Canadian stock car racing and have come on board.
This will certainly allow the team to focus 100% on
the racing program itself and not get distracted by
the business side.
Nitrex Metal Technologies will have about 40
employees and guests in the stands cheering on the
#39 as Whit attempts to take the checkered flag once
again.
Now that the two day test session at Cayuga Speedway
and the Mopar Day practice at Barrie Speedway are
complete, the #39 Dickies/Hamilton Tiger-Cats/NMT
Dodge Charger is ready to roll out of the trailer
this weekend for the inaugural NASCAR Canadian Tire
Series event at Cayuga Speedway, Saturday May 26th.
