WHITLOCK EIGHTH IN EDMONTON
Edmonton, AB: Dave Whitlock driver of the #39
Dickies/Hamilton Tiger-Cats/NMT Dodge Charger
finished up the western swing with another top ten
finish in Edmonton by crossing the finish line in
eighth.
Whitlock who fielded a three car team this
weekend in Edmonton as Pierre Bourque driver of the
#29 Conservative Party Dodge Charger joined him and
regular teammate Mark Dilley, qualified his Charger
in fourth spot for Saturday's Edmonton 100. Dilley
would start in tenth and Bourque would line up 25th.
Whitlock took the green flag in the Edmonton 100
on Saturday in front of full house of enthusiastic
race fans. He settled into fourth for the first few
laps then fell back a few positions. With some
bumping and banging the #39 driver found himself
shuffled back to eighth where he would cross the
finish line. "The car was good but I had a slight
problem with braking going into corner one and that
is where the other cars were overtaking us," said
Whitlock after the race. "Overall it was a good
western swing for us."

Ranger 3. #88 Robin Buck 4. #17 D.J. Kennington 5.
