BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR FIGHT BACK
FOR TOP-TEN FINISH
JuLY 2, 2007. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the Mopar Parts Team
had worked tirelessly to prepare for one of the most
grueling race at one of the toughest tracks on the NASCAR
Canadian Tire Series Schedule. The Mopar 300 at the tight
1/3 mile oval at Barrie Speedway. Their hard work and some
hard charging by the driver would pay off.
The Mopar Parts Dodge was quick through practice and
qualifying. Beauchamp would start the main event on the
inside of row two. Three Dodges would claim the top three
qualifying positions, and six of the top seven.
Knowing it would be long race Beauchamp took a cautious
approach to the opening segment. “I know we’d have a good
car” said Ron Jr. “We’ve always had a good car here and
everybody was keeping their heads early on. We did some
battling with the leaders and when it got a little too
intense in the early going I brushed the wall coming out of
corner two. At that point I just settled in and took things
a bit easier”.
The intensity would pick up again as the battle for
positions at the front became more intense. “I did touch the
back of the #39 car, certainly not on purpose but for that
tap the Mopar Parts Dodge was sent to the back of the field.
“After that I was just trying to run really consistent and
get back up to the front” said Beauchamp.
As the fight for positions continued throughout the field
Beauchamp and the Mopar Parts Avenger would find themselves
among the leaders. This time it was Beauchamp who became the
victim of contact. “I just tried to get turned back around
as quick as I could before the field came bearing down on
me” said Ron Jr. Unfortunatley we fell off the lead lap, but
did get that back later with the free pass”.
With the laps winding down Beauchamp got up on the wheel
of the Mopar Parts car and began to gain as many positions
as possible in the closing laps. Ron Beauchamp Jr. would cut
through the field and claim a sixth place finish, just
missing the top-five. “All I could do was really give
everything I had. My crew chief Chris Couvillion and the
Mopar Parts team gave me the kind of car that I needed to be
able to do that, and I want to thank them for their hard
work”.
With three of twelve races on the schedule complete, Ron
Beauchamp Jr. sits fourth in the overall series championship
point standings, just a single point away from third spot
overall.
Competition resumes for Team Mopar in The NASCAR Canadian
Tire Series with THE Western Canada swing that begins at Sun
Valley Speedway near Vernon, BC. The remaining events will
take the teams from coast to coast and will consist of
ovals, road courses and temporary street circuits. For the

TEAM MOPAR SET TO GO FOR INAUGURAL
NCATS EVENT
May 24, 2007. Pre Season on track testing is now complete
and the Mopar Parts Team are running through the final
preparations for the first ever NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
(NCATS) event this weekend at Cayuga Speedway, The Dodge
Dealers 200.
The Initial testing session at Cayuga
Speedway provided good information to the team and the Mopar
Dodge was front and centre for the annual Mopar Day test
session for all Dodge teams at Barrie Speedway. “The car ran
really well at both of the first two test days” said driver
Ron Beauchamp Jr. “Pretty much everything we expected is
what we found”.
In addition to these two test sessions
the Mopar Parts team felt they should run one more test
session and returned to Cayuga Speedway late last week. “We
didn’t have to run the third time, but we felt that our team
would be better prepared if we did. The additional testing
gave us a change to try a few different set ups on the car
after getting some initial data” said Beauchamp.
As the Dodge Dealers 200 approaches the
excitement is building for Team Mopar. “We are really
looking forward to competing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire
Series” said Ron Beauchamp Jr. “These are the best racers in
Canada, NASCAR is a proven success and all this coming
together is going to help the sport grow. The whole Mopar
Parts team and all of our sponsors are happy to be part of
it”.
The NASCAR
Canadian Tire Series begins competition on Saturday May 26th

BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR STEPPING UP
PREPARATIONS
May 14, 2007. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the Mopar Parts Team
continue to prepare for the start of a new racing season.
Team Mopar was at Cayuga Speedways 5/8 mile oval this past
weekend the site for the inaugural NASCAR Canadian Tire
Series racing season, The Dodge Dealers 200.
The Beauchamp Motorsports shop has been humming all
winter preparing the Dodge Avengers that will compete in
this years challenging twelve race schedule. With some
adjustments to the rules that the Mopar Parts team has
competed under in the last few seasons the Cayuga test was a
chance to see how these changes would affect the race cars.
After dozens of laps with many adjustments in between
Team Mopar was happy with the overall performance. “We’ll be
alright” said Ron Beauchamp Jr. It’s amazing how much one
change can have an impact on so many different parts of the
race car. We’ll be using larger tires this year which is
great. But we need to determine how that change impacts the
handling, what is going to happen with the brakes over a
long race and so much more”.
As is always the case with Beauchamp Motors there is
plenty of horsepower. The task for the team is making
maximum use of that horsepower for the race car. “We did
learn some things today, no doubt about it” said the driver.
“I’m hoping we can get another chance to try a few more
things before the first race of the season too”.
Team Mopar will be working very hard in the remaining
days prior to the start of the NASCAR Canadian Tire racing
season. On Tuesday May 15th they will be joining all other
Dodge teams in the series at Barrie Speedway for pictures
and some on track action. The team will then be working flat
out to be on top of their game for the first race of the
season.
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series begins competition on

FINAL EVENT ENDS EARLY FOR TEAM
MOPAR AT KAWARTHA
September 18, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and
the Mopar Parts Team visited Kawartha Speedway for what
would be not only the final event of the 2006 race of the
season, but the Dodge Charger 250 presented by Mopar was
also the final CASCAR Super Series event ever as NASCAR
takes over series ownership next year. However mechanical
troubles would strike and end the team's day early.
The high-banked, high speed 3/8 mile
circuit is an exciting track for racers to drive. “You get
around this track pretty quick” said Beauchamp after the
first practice session. Team Mopar worked throughout the day
to improve the handling of the car and Beauchamp would line
up eighth for the Dodge Charger 250.
After the drop of the green flag to begin
the race Ron Beauchamp Jr. had no trouble keeping the Mopar
Parts Charger among the top contenders. “The car was pretty
good, a little bit loose but I just wanted to develop a
rhythm, this event last year ran really quickly so it was
important to be up front.
Still in the early stages Beauchamp was
pushed high in corner one losing several positions. “Guys
run very different lines here and we got pushed up a bit
heading into the first corner” said Beauchamp. “We just
regrouped and started back toward the front. The car was
still loose, but we planned some changes during our pit
stop”.
Unfortunately the team would not get a
chance to make the improvements as Beauchamp began to slow
on lap 72. “No warning at all, the Mopar Charger just slowed
down and I noticed we were losing oil pressure so I shut it
down”. It’s too bad because we wanted to finish up the
season with another strong outing after our win at St.
Eustache. It’s very rare that we have any mechanical
failures and that’s why it’s even more disappointing for it
to happen in the final race” said the driver. “We were
really hoping for another all Dodge podium here at the Dodge
Charger 250 presented by Mopar

BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR WINNERS AT
ST EUSTACHE!
September
10, 2006. The CASCAR Super Series annual visit to the
Autodrome St. Eustache was postponed in June and rescheduled
due to inclement weather. For Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the
Mopar Parts Team it was worth the wait as they claimed
victory at the challenging oval.
Right from the opening practice laps
there was a sense of confidence with Team Mopar.
“The car felt really good right from the
beginning” said Ron Beauchamp Jr. “We had a good car here
last year and scooped up a podium finish, but we found a
little something that we thought could make us even better”
Beauchamp would qualify the Mopar Parts
Charger in the 4th position for the 200 lap main event.
“Starting up front is what you need here to stay out of
trouble”’ said the driver. “There were a couple of cautions
in the early going and even with our starting spot it was a
little wild, guys were pretty aggressive”.
As the race progressed through a long
green flag run Beauchamp maneuvered the Mopar Parts Charger
toward the front of the pack and would take the lead on lap
66. “This car just felt better and better with that long
run” said Beauchamp “the crew really had the set up right”.
In the late stages once again the caution
flag flew several times and closed the field up. “I was
getting challenged pretty good from behind and the car was
starting to loosen up a little so I was trying to take it
easy on the tires, and was just hoping we could run those
final laps” said Beauchamp.
The challenge from behind would be no
match for the Beauchamp Motorsports horsepower and Ron Jr.
would take the Mopar Parts Charger across the finish line
first and claim the top step on a second straight all Dodge
podium.
“I just have to thank Mopar, Exide, Mobil
One, and all our sponsors” smiled the driver. “This car was
so good tonight, the team did a great job and it’s nice to
get another victory here at St Eustache”.

BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR SCORE SECOND
SPOT ON ALL DODGE PODIUM AT CAYUGA!
September 4, 2006. CASCAR Super Series
teams were back to oval racing action for round number nine
of the tour at Cayuga Speedway. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the
Mopar Parts Charger were among the fastest cars all day, and
claimed a second place finish.
With rain showers on Saturday, the
schedule was condensed into a one day event but the limited
practice time didn’t seem to bother Team Mopar. Ron
Beauchamp Jr. had the Mopar Parts Charger near the top of
the time sheets right away. “This car was very good all day”
said the driver. “It really was a pleasure to drive”.
Beauchamp would start the 200 lap feature
race from the sixth spot on the outside of row three and in
the early going had no trouble maintaining pace with the
front runners. “It’s easy to get too aggressive early” said
Beauchamp, we just wanted to settle in and run our race”.
As the race progressed Team Mopar would
make a pit stop about the one quarter mark of the event for
tires and fuel. “We had to make at least one stop and this
strategy left us an option later on” said the driver. “If we
wanted to we could go the distance or if needed to we could
make another stop later. A second stop wouldn’t be
necessary.
The handling of the Mopar Parts Charger
was perfect and Beauchamp began his march toward the front.
Just past the halfway point Ron Beauchamp Jr. took over the
lead. Ron Jr. would keep Team Mopar out in front for the
next 37 laps. “Unfortunately I got a little messed up as we
were in lap traffic and the lead slipped away but there was
still plenty of racing left” said the driver.
Beauchamp would hound the leader working
as hard as he could to force a mistake and retake the lead,
his best opportunity coming on a restart following a caution
period with less than twenty laps remaining. “I gave it
everything I had” said Beauchamp “but I think I had used up
the tires a little bit and we just couldn’t quite make it.
But a second place finish here is really nice, especially
with three Dodge cars on the podium”.

BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR MARCH INTO
TOP TEN IN MONTREAL
August 28, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and
the Mopar Parts Charger Team were looking for another solid
run on the road course to help the team move up in the
overall CASCAR Super Series standings as they took to the
track on Isle Notre Dame for the first time as part of the
Grand Prix of Montreal.
With the long straight-aways on the 4km
circuit the always strong Beauchamp Motorsports engines
would provide plenty of horsepower, but brakes and
transmissions are put through severe punishment.
Through the practice and qualifying
sessions the Mopar Parts Dodge was among the strongest cars.
“After taking the first few laps to get comfortable with the
course I started to push the car little further “said Ron
Beauchamp Jr. “We continued to improve as the session went
on and put up a good qualifying effort starting fourth”.
After the start of the race Beauchamp
looked to establish a comfortable pace and conserve the car
for the end. Unfortunately the plans changed. “I knew pretty
quickly that we had a serious problem” said the driver. I
told the crew we had transmission troubles and they were
ready for some serious work”
After assessing the situation Beauchamp
drew on his many years of driving experience to coax the car
around the track and avoid a lengthy pit stop for repairs.
“I had to double clutch and take it pretty easy but we made
to the end and came out with a top ten finish for the Mopar
Parts Dodge. Things could have been a much worse for us, we
actually gained some ground in the points so I’m pretty
happy” smiled the driver.

ANOTHER TOP FIVE FINISH FOR
BEAUCHAMP & TEAM MOPAR
August 13, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and
the Mopar Parts Charger Team returned to race in Ontario for
the first time in over a month this past weekend. Team Mopar
has posted impressive finishes recently and they were intent
on continuing that success on the challenging half-mile oval
at Mosport Speedway.
With only limited practice time the team
was comfortable with the times they were running but both
driver Ron Beauchamp Jr. and engine builder Ron Sr. were
both quick to say “we’ll get some more out of the car”
before we’re through. They would follow through on that
promise.
More fine tuning was completed prior to
qualifying and Beauchamp was able to clock the third
quickest qualifying time in the Mopar Parts Charger to start
on the inside of row two, and claim three championship
points. “The car felt pretty good for one lap, but it might
be a little bit loose to start the race so we’ll just have
to hang on for a while” said Beauchamp Jr.
During impound races where no changes are
allowed after qualifying prior to the race the plan in the
early going is to settle in and assess the car. The Mopar
Parts Charger did slip back a couple of positions but was
able to maintain a solid race pace. “Things played out
pretty much as expected” said Beauchamp. “We planned on some
changes for our pit stop, and looked to move forward”.
As the caution flag waved just prior to
half-way almost everyone made scheduled pit stops. “It was
pretty wild with such a tight pit lane” said Beauchamp. “The
guys had a good stop but it’s so hectic that I wanted to be
careful getting out and not damage the car”.
With a better handling car Beauchamp set
out to move the Mopar Parts Charger back toward the front of
the field. “The car was definitely better and we picked up
some spots” said the driver. “We really had to fight some
traffic a few times; even the cars a lap down were racing
pretty hard. I’m happy to finish fourth, but if we’d been
able to clear some of the traffic quicker we might have been
on the podium. The Mopar Parts Charger was fast right to the
end and the other guys were coming back to us. Overall I’m
pretty happy, we jump another spot in the points and keep
the momentum going”.

BEAUCHAMP AND TEAM MOPAR ON THE
PODIUM IN TROIS RIVIERES
August 7, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and
Team Mopar and the rest of the CASCAR Super Series
competitors returned to the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres for
the first time in five years this past weekend. And
following a podium finish Team Mopar hopes it’s not another
five years before the series makes its third appearance.
From the very first practice session the
Mopar Parts Charger was among the quickest on the track.
“This new road course car is really strong” said Beauchamp.
“A couple of weeks ago we had it going pretty well but we
dialed it in even better at this race”.
Qualifying up front is one key to success
on the challenging temporary street circuit and Beauchamp
put the Mopar Parts car into the fifth starting spot. “I
think we could have even gone faster” said Beauchamp, “but
we burned out a clutch and the last lap really wasn’t as
smooth as I would have liked”.
Getting through the first few corners on
street course can be tough for these heavy and hard to
handle stock cars. On lap one there was a big collision that
caused significant damage to several cars. “That’s why we
wanted to be up front” said Beauchamp, “this kind of thing
happens and we managed to avoid it. After we got rolling
again I just tried to maintain consistent lap times”.
The opening lap collision would be the
only time the caution flag slowed the field. Beauchamp and
the Mopar Parts Charger were among the top five cars all day
and came home with a third place podium position. “We were
really consistent all day” said the driver. “I’m really
happy with this showing for our team, we were the top
qualifying and top finishing Dodge/Mopar Team and that’s
very satisfying. This also jumps us up a few spots in the
point standings”.

DISAPPOINTING START TO WESTERN
SWING FOR BEAUCHAMP AND TEAM MOPAR
July 17, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and Team
Mopar opened up the CASCAR Super Series western events this
past weekend at beautiful Sun Valley Speedway near Vernon,
B.C. However a pit stop problem cost the team a certain
top-ten finish.
The Mopar Parts Charger was quick right
off the truck during the afternoon practice sessions but
changing track conditions due to cooler temperatures in the
qualifying races set the team back in the pack and they
would start the main event from 14th spot on the grid.
As the green flag waved Beauchamp
efficiently moved the Team Mopar Charger through the field
and into the top ten. “We made a few changes to the car and
that got us off to a good start” said Beauchamp. “With a 300
lap race we paced ourselves and things looked good early
on”.
Following a pit stop near the 1/3 mark
for two tires and fuel Team Mopar was shuffled to the middle
of the pack but on track in their strategy for the day. “It
was a race track that was really changing” said the driver
“but our adjustments worked out pretty well for us”.
Following the second stop of the race for
tires and fuel the team’s fortunes changed dramatically.
During the right side tire change a wheel stud broke on the
right rear. CASCAR rules do not allow competitors to
continue until repairs are made. “It’s just one of those
things that catch you now and then” said a frustrated
Beauchamp. “The Team Mopar guys did a fantastic job to get
us back out there. At that point our focus shifted and they
did the job to get me back out there to get as many points
as possible”.
CASCAR teams are back in action this
coming Saturday as the feature race on Saturday during the
West Edmonton Mall Grand Prix. “We were the first series to
race on the airport track a few years ago and we had some
good success with a podium finish, we’ll be charging his
weekend for sure” said Beauchamp.

BEAUCHAMP FINISHES SECOND IN MOPAR
CANADA DAY 300 PRESENTED BY DODGE DEALERS OF ONTARIO
July 3, 2006. For the second straight
year CASCAR Super Series competitors gathered at Barrie
Speedway for the Canada Day weekend. Barrie Speedway had not
been a friendly track for Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the Mopar
Parts team. They were determined to come home with the
results they were capable of at the Mopar Canada Day 300
presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario.
Prior to the Mopar Canada Day 300
presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario the 1/3 mile oval
at Barrie Speedway was reconfigured slightly and repaved.
“We’ve had our troubles on this track the last couple of
races, and with the changes it is better, but when you put
these heavy cars on this track things are bound to happen,
you just want them to be good things” said Beauchamp.
The Mopar Parts Dodge was not as quick
early in the weekend as the team had hoped. “We were
fighting for the handling a bit early on or we would have
been quicker than tenth in the time trials” said the driver.
As the Mopar Canada Day 300 presented by
the Dodge Dealers of Ontario began Beauchamp knew he had to
try and move up, but also stay out of the inevitable carnage
that would occur. “You try and move around guys without too
much bumping, but the racing line is so tight you heat your
tires up and then have to cool things down and bit, it’s a
real battle out there” said Beauchamp.
Through the late stages of the race
Beauchamp had neatly moved the Mopar Parts Dodge Charger
into the top five. “Things usually get exciting at the end
of the race, and you could feel that guys were getting more
and more anxious as the laps wound down”. During the restart
from late race caution there was contact between the front
couple of cars with the leader spinning into the wall. That
coupled with a subsequent penalty to the second place car
moved Beauchamp up to challenge for the win.
While unable to make one more pass in the
final laps the Mopar Parts Dodge Charger does claim a second
place finish at the Mopar Canada Day 300 presented by the
Dodge Dealers of Ontario. “This was about the wildest second
place finish we’ve ever had, but we’ll take it” smiled the
driver afterwards. “This is the kind of result we’re capable
of and I’m looking forward to the heading out west”.
With his charge from 10th on the starting
grid to the second place finish, Beauchamp also gains more
positions than any other competitor and claims the Hard
Charger award for this event.
Ron Beauchamp Jr. and Team Mopar along
with the rest of the CASCAR Super Series teams head west for
the next event at Sunset Speedway in Vernon, BC. Beauchamp
finished fifth in last years race.

BEAUCHAMP IS QUICK IN NEW CAR, BUT
OFFICIALS RULING HAS DISAPPOINTING RESULTS
June 19, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the
Mopar Parts team were excited to debut their new road course
car this past weekend at round two of the CASCAR Super
Series. With challenging road courses like those at Mosport
Raceway it’s necessary to have top level equipment. However
while the car was fast, the race result was more than a
little disappointing.
With the new car sporting the Mobil One
logo across the hood for the first time this season there
were plenty of smiles when Ron Beauchamp Jr. was able to
post the 6th quickest time in qualifying. “We were on pole
for a while, but got bumped out by the later group” said the
driver. “But we’re very happy with this new car”.
With all new cars there are little
difficulties to work out, after the Saturday session the
team changed transmissions because third gear was a little
sticky. On Sunday morning there was a problem with the
master cylinder so it too was swapped out.
When the green flag dropped for the
Clarington 200 Beauchamp knew he had one of the best cars on
the track. “I wasn’t pushing at all, just settling into our
rhythm, and waiting to see how the race played out. As
others began to make pit stops, the team took advantage of
track position and stayed out to lead a lap and gain
valuable championship points before making their scheduled
stop for service. As the pit stops cycled through Beauchamp
was among the front runners and plotting his charge to the
front. It was shortly after this that the race turned sour
for Team Mopar.
Following a restart after a full course
caution the team was informed that they were being penalized
for passing under a yellow flag condition. Following an
animated discussion with officials asking for a more
thorough explanation the team had no choice but to serve the
penalty or risk further sanctions. Ron Beauchamp Sr. stated
“we don’t agree with how things were handled, I think there
were some inconsistencies in how situations were ruled
during this race”.
Following his stop and go penalty, Ron
Jr. put on a charge. It was during the closing laps of the
race that Beauchamp was clicking off some of the quickest
times of the afternoon and doing what he could to salvage
the day with 21st place points. “This is a great car, its
unfortunate we couldn’t show it off properly today, but
we’ll be ready for the rest of the road races”.
Ron Beauchamp Jr. and Team Mopar along
with the rest of the CASCAR Super Series teams are back in
action on the Canada Day Weekend as the series makes its
second stop of the year at Barrie Speedway.

TIGHT TRACK BITES BEAUCHAMP & TEAM
MOPAR IN SEASON OPENER
May 25, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the
Mopar Parts team were among the quickest cars all weekend at
the first CASCAR Super Series race at Barrie Speedway,
however tight competition often results in contact, and in
this case it caused the Mopar Dodge all kinds of trouble.
During practice and qualifying on
Saturday the Mopar Dodge performed pretty much as expected.
“We had the kind of car we expected” said Ron Beauchamp Jr.
“Earlier in the month we were here and ran a few laps to see
how the car handled and it was pretty much the same. When we
have room to race, we’re fast”. Beauchamp and Team Mopar had
no trouble posting quick laps and were among the top runners
during the 50 lap qualifying races. Beauchamp would start
the 250 lap main event in seventh.
After a one day delay due to weather, the
Mopar Dodge took the green flag on Monday afternoon and once
again had the speed and handling necessary to have a
successful day. “Things were good for the first half of the
race” said the driver. “Our lap times were consistent and we
just wanted to have something for the end of the race”.
Following routine scheduled service for
tires and fuel Beauchamp was back on track but in heavy
traffic. “The car was just as we expected it to be, however
there was some pretty aggressive driving going on. We wound
up getting bumped and pushed into the back of another car
and that pushed the hood up making it difficult to see. I
was managing okay, but CASCAR made the call that we had to
come in and that took away any chance of a top finish”.
The Mopar Dodge pit crew removed the hood
to allow better visibility and Beauchamp was back on track
to try and make up as many positions and collect as many
championship points as possible. Beauchamp would wind up
13th at the end of day.
“It’s unfortunate how things worked out,
and we’ve got plenty of work to do on the car now” said
Beauchamp. “But we’re headed to St Eustache for the next
race and we’ve won at that track before so we’re pretty
motivated”.

TEAM MOPAR & RON BEAUCHAMP JR.
READY TO TAKE THE GREEN FOR A NEW SEASON!
May 17, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the Mopar Parts team
are completing final preparations on their Dodge Charger for
the first race of the 2006 CASCAR Super Series racing season
set to take place this coming weekend at Barrie Speedway.
Following months of meticulous work the team is now fine
tuning the car and setting the plan for what is always a
grueling summer race schedule. “We want to have exactly the
same kind of start as last year” beamed Ron Beauchamp Jr.
“Winning the first race of the season with such a dominating
car last year really put us in the right frame of mind to
start the year off. With this first race being at one of the
few tracks we had trouble at, and with the changes to the
schedule, we’re even more determined to get off on the right
footing”.
The 2006 CASCAR Super Series schedule is substantially
different from previous seasons. CASCAR is returning to road
races in Edmonton Alberta and Trois Rivieres, Quebec, plus
there will be two races at Barrie Speedway
“The car we had for the Barrie race last year handled
fine, but it’s just the track is so tight in corner four
that with any sort of traffic around you it’s easy to get
bumped and into trouble”.
Action begins at Barrie Speedway for the CASCAR Super
Series on Saturday May 20th with time trials and 50 lap heat
races. The 250 lap main event takes place on Sunday May
21st. You can get more information and directions by logging

RON BEAUCHAMP JR
AND TEAM MOPAR TURNING LAPS AT ANNUAL MOPAR DAY!
May 1, 2006. Ron Beauchamp Jr. and the
Mopar Parts team had their Dodge Charger on track at Barrie
Speedway recently for the annual Mopar Day for all
affiliated teams with the Dodge and Mopar Brands.
Mopar Day is an annual event organized by
the Mopar Parts Division at Daimler Chrysler to bring all of
the Team Mopar family together for all of the pre season
necessities like picture taking and releasing details about
the 2006 Dodge and Mopar contingency program, the largest
contingency program in CASCAR Racing with up to $250,000.00
in awards possible.
“This is always a fun day” said Ron
Beauchamp Jr. “We get a chance to catch up with some of the
other drivers we haven’t maybe seen for a while, swap a few
stories and the of course the afternoon always allows us a
little time on the race track to run some laps”.
Following last years success where Ron
Beauchamp Jr. and Team Mopar claimed victory in two events
including the season opening Mopar 250 expectations are even
higher. “With the changes to the schedule this year adding
more road courses we know we’ve got to step up our program”
stated the driver. “We’re having a new road course car
built to our specifications and it will be ready for the
first race at Mosport”.
Ron Beauchamp Jr. and Team Mopar will
spend the next few weeks preparing the cars and practicing
pit stops and of course be on track for more testing prior
to the first race of the 2006 CASCAR season at Barrie
Speedway on May 21st. Included with this release is a
photo of the #60 Mopar Parts Charger with the new paint
scheme for 2006.
